Targeting various trade visitors such as importers, wholesalers, retailers, hotels & restaurants, a series of seminars and lectures were conducted by organizers, marketing specialists and exhibitors.

Tasting & Matching Programmes

International wines, which have not been distributed yet in Japan, were introduced in the WSET basis lecturers. Exhibitors could also join the sessions and have a chance to meet up with the visitors directly, mainly a group of importers and wholesalers.

Wine Pairing Programmes

Strategic knowledge of Japanese food and wine combinations is necessary to become a market player. Informative lectures on "taste matching" were held during the three show days, targeting the hotel & restaurant industry.

WGJ Label Award

Appearance matters. The trade visitors voted and selected three best looking labels, which were covered in the Wine Kingdom Magazine.
